Inside Figma's Design Process（节选）

Figma设计师访谈节选。

We start with low-fi s — usually grayscale boxes on a whiteboard or in Figma. The goal at this stage isn't visual polish. It's to align on structure. Then we move to mid-fi, where we add real content and start making layout decisions. Only after the structure feels right do we move to high-fidelity s with full visual design and interactions.

##为什么是这个顺序

Our of the design process follows three principles: 1. *Fidelity follows decisions. Don't waste polish on a layout that might change. 2. Feedback early, feedback often. s are easier to throw away than s. 3. Reduce at every step. Don't make stakeholders process visual polish while they're still debating information architecture.

译注*：注意 fidelity（保真度）在设计语境里特指'和真实产品的接近程度'。low-fi / mid-fi / hi-fi 是设计师内部沟通的标配说法，海外同事听到这几个缩写就能 get。
