Remix

English Definition

"A creative practice of reinterpreting, recombining, and transforming existing cultural artifacts (e.g., videos, images, sound files) to produce new works with new meanings, enabled by digital tools."

在 HCI 与创意研究中是核心概念(参见 Lawrence Lessig《Remix: Making Art and Commerce Thrive in the Hybrid Economy》),与音乐行业的「remix」(混音)有别,更强调文化层面的 reuse 与 transformation。
