MSDV (Motion Sickness Dose Value)
English Definition
"A standardized metric defined in ISO 2631 that calculates the vibration dose of vehicle motion by frequency-weighting accelerations, used to predict the likelihood and severity of motion sickness."

"The ISO 2631 standard (ISO, 1997) defines a calculation based on the driving behaviour resulting in the 'Motion sickness dose value' (MSDV). This calculation considers the accelerations of the vehicle and provides a value to indicate the incidence of motion sickness."
"An overall MSDV value taking into account accelerations in all three dimensions can be calculated as shown by Asua et al. (2022)."
