可访问性 / 无障碍,指产品、服务或环境能被尽可能多的人(包括残障、老年等群体)使用的能力。HCI 核心议题之一,常与 'inclusivity'(包容性)并列出现。

"In HCI/design, the discipline and practice of ensuring that products, services, and environments are usable by people with the widest possible range of abilities, including those with disabilities; the corresponding design property."

中文常译为 '可访问性' 或 '无障碍'。注意与 'usability'(可用性)区分:usability 关注一般用户的效率与满意度,accessibility 特别强调残障群体的可使用。设计师口语中也常说 'a11y'(accessibility 的简写,11 个字母夹在 a 和 y 之间)。
