Usability101（节选）

is a quality attribute that assesses how easy user interfaces are to use. The word "usability" also refers to methods for improving ease-of-use during the design process.

##五个维度

According to the ISO definition, has five quality components:

1. *Effectiveness — can users accomplish their goals?
2. Efficiency — how quickly and with what resources?
3. Satisfaction — was the experience pleasant?
4. Learnability — can new users pick it up quickly?
5. Error tolerance — what happens when users make mistakes?

可用性 vs 用户体验

is part of the larger concept of . UX covers everything affecting a user's interaction with a product — including brand perception, emotional response, and accessibility.

Think of it this way:

- = can the user accomplish the task? - = did the user feel good doing it?
